Job summary

Colony Insurance, a division of Colony Bank, is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative who will act as a trusted advisor to clients across Georgia (with licensing in AL and SC). You will build personal relationships, assess clients’ needs, and present tailored policies while leveraging referrals from Colony Bank and in-house teams.

A strong commission structure accompanies base expectations for top earners.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Property & Casualty License (Required).
• Proven success in insurance sales, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with standard office software and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks independently.
• Make 80+ outbound sales calls daily.

Responsibilities

• Achieve high sales goals through personal relationships and referrals.
• Engage with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs.
• Explain complex insurance policies and coverage options clearly.
• Develop and present customized insurance proposals for client situations.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and keep policies current.
• Process new business applications and endorsements accurately.
• Cultivate relationships to foster retention and referrals.
