We are actively seeking licensed agents to join our field sales teams. As a licensed agent, you will receive an established book of business that offers prospecting opportunities for new sales and immediate income through a collections commission for premiums collected each month. The pay‑for‑performance model allows agents to determine their own income capacity—higher earnings accompany a larger book of business. Licensed Agent Bonus Program

Eligible for up to $4,750 in bonuses during the first year for agents licensed to sell all Kemper Life products.

• $750 bonus when hired and assigned to an agency
• $1,500 bonus after six production months
• $2,500 bonus after 12 production months
• To qualify, maintain a $200 average monthly issued premium, remain an active employee in good standing, and hold a full license to sell all Kemper Life products in your resident state. The program is not available to rehires or agents with temporary licenses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate home visits and conduct sales presentations, recommend products, and close new sales.
• Prospect for new sales opportunities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre‑arranged schedule you determine.
• Respond promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, account for money collected, and process policy paperwork.

Agent Expectations

• Grow the assigned territory through new sales.
• Build strong working relationships with customers.
• Devote the necessary time to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
• Pursue continuous professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Customer service experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
