Job summary

Kemper Corporation is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our field team in the Camden, SC area. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus and an uncapped commission structure, enabling income potential tied to performance and book of business.

Responsibilities include coordinating home visits, presenting policies, collecting premiums, and building lasting client relationships, with opportunities for growth and promotions within Kemper Life products.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life’s products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating home visits and conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
