Job summary

Quality Chemical Laboratories (QCL) in Wilmington, NC is seeking a licensed HVAC Technician.

The candidate will install, maintain and repair HVAC systems, using knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics and BAS.

Responsibilities include following blueprints to diagnose and repair units, documenting work, and readiness to work weekends or outdoors; proficiency with basic tech tools is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school with an HVAC certificate or military training.
• HVAC experience of 10+ years preferred.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems per blueprints.
• Knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, BAS, pipe fitting, welding, and brazing.
• Ability to work outdoors or in mechanical rooms; may require weekend work.
• Proficiency with laptops, tablets, smartphones, MS Office, and Adobe.
