Job summary

SmartStyle Salon in New York, located inside Walmart, is seeking a friendly Hair Stylist / Hair Designer to deliver high-quality services and exceptional guest experiences. You’ll perform cuts, color, highlights, waxing, and other treatments with professionalism.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

You need good eyesight to observe a guest’s hair, including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

You’ll be standing, moving, lifting, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive movements throughout the workday. You should be comfortable occasionally lifting 10–25 lbs.

Our salon services involve chemicals and fragrances, so you must be comfortable working around salon products, fragrances, and chemicals.
