Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to support safe loading, unloading, and movement of goods at our Chattanooga facility. You will operate powered industrial equipment, manage inventory data, and ensure accurate labeling and cycle counts as part of daily distribution tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain Forklift Operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle count as required.
• Perform daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
