Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Senior ESWL Specialist to lead ESWL procedures in Sacramento. The role requires radiologic technologist training, ARRT certification, and CA licensure as applicable. You will train staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure patient safety throughout lithotripsy cases.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, load/unload duties, and travel to assigned sites. A strong focus on safety, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing professional education is essential.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technologist training program.
  • Current ARRT certification in good standing.
  • State license(s) as required by law; California Fluoro license for CA residents.
  • CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Annual TB screening and HIPAA training/compliance.
  • Maintain USDOT regulatory courses and driving record.
  • Meet facility and company policy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and train team members, including new‑hire onboarding.
  • Locate stone positions quickly to minimize case times.
  • Perform ESWL procedures and assist the Urologist during lithotripsy.
  • Ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain equipment function and assist in scheduling and logistics.
  • Travel as needed and stay current on ESWL technology.

Job description

Senior ESWL Specialist

Location: Sacramento District, Sacramento, California.

Pay Range: $48.00 - $76.90.

Responsibilities
  • Perform team lead responsibilities, such as new‑hire training.
  • Locate positions of stones quickly to minimize average case times.
  • Perform specialized procedures, including GI stones.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to physicians and/or LLC partners.
  • Maintain high case volume and utilization.
  • Ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.
  • Interface with Scheduling to ensure smooth case load schedules.
  • Assist the Urologist in identifying calculi and accurately positioning patients during lithotripsy procedures.
  • Maintain optimal radiographic equipment function and minimize patient exposures.
  • Verify patient information in unit logs and ensure accurate billing and record keeping.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and report issues promptly to the Director of Operations.
  • Assist in equipment scheduling and truck maintenance.
  • Follow company policies for equipment set‑up/breakdown at the start and end of each case.
  • Load, unload, and transfer the lithotripter, components, and supplies between vehicle and procedure area.
  • Cross‑train staff in ancillary areas such as laser technician duties as requested.
  • Adhere to hospital emergency, safety, infection‑control, and other policies.
  • Perform additional duties as required with minimal supervision.
  • Travel within or outside assigned geography, including overnight travel, as needed.
  • Process vehicle USDOT forms, equipment logs, and time cards accurately and on time.
  • Check voicemails and emails daily to ensure timely communication.
  • Stay current on ESWL/lithotripsy technology trends and related techniques.
  • Maintain required certifications through continued education.
  • Take scheduled surgical cases and share on‑call coverage equitably, both weekend and weekday.
  • Process paperwork such as worker orders, purchase orders, and inventory accurately.
  • Obtain facility purchase orders.
  • Close cases in the scheduling system daily.
  • Arrive on time and be at the assigned customer location at least one hour before scheduled procedures.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • College graduate preferred, not required.
  • Successful completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technologist training program.
  • 10+ years of ESWL‑specific experience, with at least 6 months at Agiliti.
  • Current ARRT certification in good standing.
  • State license(s) as required by law; California residents must hold a California Fluoro license.
  • Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Annual TB screening required.
  • Complete HIPAA training and compliance.
  • Maintain current company regulatory courses.
  • Meet USDOT driver requirements and maintain a safe driving record.
