Job summary

Western States Fire Protection (WSFP) is seeking a Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspector to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. The Inspector will test and inspect fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, prepare accurate inspection reports, and coordinate with project managers to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates will have strong written and verbal communication, experience with NFPA codes, and relevant licenses such as Texas Fire Alarm Technician License and NICET certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• NICET Level II or III preferred.
• Texas Fire Alarm Technician License preferred.
• Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, background and reference check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing and services of life safety product lines.
• Handle low voltage wiring and devices for operation of low voltage equipment.
• Operate with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections.
• Daily communications with Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements and status.
• Coordinate closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and ensure work is billed in full.
