First Merchants Bank is seeking a Licensed Financial Advisor to join our team. This role facilitates the sales and service of securities, annuities, registered investment advisory products and life insurance to qualified clients, expanding relationships through new business and exceptional service.

The advisor will provide investment guidance, work with branch personnel, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while building a growing client book in Indiana.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of securities or annuity sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 66 licenses and state insurance license.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related banking field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales appointments, make presentations and complete all paperwork on successful sales.
• Maintain effective relationships with branch personnel and lead training efforts as needed.
• Meet activity and production goals and grow within existing book of business.
• Provide a broad range of investment solutions and financial planning guidance to meet client goals.
• Comply with broker/dealer rules and all state/federal regulations.
• Process securities transactions and maintain required documentation.
• Participate in civic activities to promote growth and a positive bank image.
