SUGARED + BRONZED LLC in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Licensed Esthetician for a paid training program. You will perform sugaring services, including Brazilian and Bikini, in a fast-paced studio while learning our technique and delivering exceptional client experiences.

This role offers paid training, consistent scheduling with 7-hour shifts (part-time or full-time), competitive hourly pay plus gratuity, and quarterly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetology license in the applicable state.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Sugaring experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-body sugaring hair removal, including Brazilian and Bikini.
• Educate clients on the sugaring process and aftercare.
• Greet, check in/out clients using the appointment system.
• Maintain clean treatment rooms and sanitation standards.
• Restock disposables and products; complete opening/closing side work.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of S+B services, memberships, and product lines.
• Respond to client emails and text messages regarding appointments and services.

Your Day to Day

Our Sugaristas are beauty enthusiasts who love hair removal! You’ll provide sugaring services in a fast paced, high volume environment while building genuine connections with clients. Our teams are confident multitaskers that combine strong sugaring technique with a few front of house responsibilities to keep the day running smoothly. At the heart of it all, each store operates like a supportive, tight knit team focused on delivering an exceptional client experience.

Sugarista Responsibilities

• Perform full-body sugaring hair removal services, including Brazilian + Bikini.
• Educate clients on the sugaring process, and before and after service care.
• Greet, check in, and check out clients with our appointment booking system.
• Maintain clean treatment rooms and follow sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetology license in the state you’re applying for (Waxing license acceptable in New York).
• Sugaring experience is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Services require the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements.
