Job summary

Sugared + Bronzed in New York is seeking Sugaristas to perform full-body sugaring (Brazilian and bikini) in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while building genuine client relationships.

The role includes paid training, consistent 7-hour shifts (part-time or full-time), high client volume, commissions on memberships and product sales after training, bonuses, 401(k) matching, and health care for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Active esthetician or cosmetology license in NY (waxing license acceptable).
• Entry-level and new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-body sugaring services, including Brazilian + Bikini.
• Educate clients on the sugaring process, and before and after service care.
• Greet, check in, and check out clients with our appointment booking system
• Maintain clean treatment rooms and follow sanitation standards.
• Restock disposables and products; complete opening/closing side work.
• Learn and maintain strong knowledge of S+B services, memberships, and product lines.
• Respond to client emails and text messages regarding appointments and services.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Our Sugaristas are beauty enthusiasts who love hair removal! You’ll provide sugaring services in a fast paced, high volume environment while building genuine connections with clients. Our teams are confident multitaskers that combine strong sugaring technique with a few front of house responsibilities to keep the day running smoothly. At the heart of it all, each store operates like a supportive, tight knit team focused on delivering an exceptional client experience.

SUGARISTA RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform full-body sugaring hair removal services, including Brazilian + Bikini.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Esthetician or Cosmetology license in the state you’re applying for (Waxing license acceptable in New York).

The pay range for this role is:

19.57 - 50 USD per hour (NY - NYC Metro - Park Slope)
