Job summary

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is seeking a licensed esthetician to deliver facial, waxing, lash, makeup, and advanced skin treatments in a hands-on spa setting. You will consult with clients to tailor skincare routines, maintain rigorous sanitation standards, and document treatments in EMR systems.

You will also educate clients on product usage and aftercare, support sales of retail products, and stay current with evolving techniques, including laser-based services.

Qualifications

• Valid state esthetician license with cosmetology knowledge.
• Experience delivering facials, waxing, lash extensions, and dermabrasion is preferred.
• Infection control and sanitation standards in a spa setting.
• Strong customer service and welcoming demeanor for diverse clients.
• Knowledge of makeup color theory and basic laser/advanced treatments is a plus.
• Ability to operate EMR systems for records and appointments.

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Licensed Esthetician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional skincare treatments and beauty services, ensuring clients feel pampered, confident, and cared for. Your expertise will help elevate the client experience while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and skin treatments such as dermabrasion and esthetic laser therapy.
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable skincare routines and products based on individual needs.
• Maintain strict sanitation and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Manage client records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, documenting treatments and progress.
• Educate clients on skincare best practices, product usage, and aftercare instructions to enhance results.
• Support sales efforts by recommending retail products that complement treatment plans.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques like tattooing or hair threading, and advanced treatments such as esthetic laser procedures.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as an Esthetician with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology principles.
• Prior experience in delivering a wide range of skincare services including facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, and dermabrasion.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and sanitation procedures in a spa or salon setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse clients.
• Knowledge of color theory for makeup application and advanced treatments like laser therapy or tattooing is a plus.
• Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for record keeping and appointment management.
