Century Mechanical Holdings is seeking a Licensed Electrician in Massachusetts to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will read blueprints, ensure code compliance, identify hazards, and provide accurate estimates for repairs while delivering safe, high-quality service.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a valid electrical license, and strong collaboration with HVAC and plumbing teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in electrical systems.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Licensed Electrician.
• Valid electrician's license or certification per state/local rules.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures, according to local and national electrical codes.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards or defects, and repair or replace as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and recommend solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with other contractors and workers, such as HVAC technicians and plumbers, to complete projects.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, including LED lighting, outdoor lighting, and emergency lighting.
• Install and maintain communication systems, such as intercoms and fire alarm systems.
• Install and maintain security systems, including cameras and access control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate with customers to explain electrical issues, and provide estimates for repairs and installations.

A Licensed Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in homes, commercial buildings, and industrial settings. The Electrician will work with a variety of electrical components and systems, ranging from basic wiring to more complex electrical systems, such as lighting, communication systems, and security systems.
