Generator Supercenter in Michigan is seeking a Licensed Master Electrician to oversee electrical projects sold and verify work complies with code and company requirements.

You will register licenses, trace wiring, assist in generator installation, and support pre-installation activities such as trenching, piping, and electrical assemblies. The role requires reading wiring diagrams and ensuring safe, compliant workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have previous electrical experience; on-the-job training available.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AC/DC electrical experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of licensed wireman role and business objectives encouraged.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Good people skills and clear communication.
• Motivated self-starter who can multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review sold job folders and ensure electrical work meets code and Generator Supercenter requirements.
• Register license with municipalities, counties, townships, etc.
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems; assist in load-testing generator packages.
• Assist in setting up power generation equipment and civil aspects of projects.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams; understand AC/DC wiring for duties.
• Install electrical equipment and ensure proper connections and safety.
• Utilize measuring and electrical testing equipment accurately.
• Promote welfare across the company and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Working as a Licensed Master Electrician, you will be responsible for all electrical projects sold. Review all sold job folders and verify all electrical work is completed to code and to all the specified Generator Supercenter requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register your license with the appropriate municipalities, counties, townships, etc
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
• Assist in load-testing generator packages
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power generation packages
• Electrical technician - ability to read wiring diagrams
• Have a clear understanding of AC/DC WIRING as it pertains to duties
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete the fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have previous electrical experience, some on-the-job training is available
• High School Diploma or GED
• AC and DC electrical experience is a plus
• Must have a working knowledge of the licensed wireman position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives
• Must promote and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
• Good people skills with the ability to communicate well with others
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
