Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced technician to join our dealer network. You will install and service home generators, apply electrical expertise, and ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, reading blueprints, and performing regular inspections. Practical experience in residential or commercial electrical work is essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum in the electrical trade.
• Experience installing generators, home automation, or service work.
• Residential and/or commercial electrical work experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver's license for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead generator installations with electrical expertise.
• Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis and steps taken.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, distribution and controls.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent future issues.
