Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Technician in Richmond, VA to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across multiple client facilities. The role requires an active Virginia Electrician License and a minimum of 4 years of electrical maintenance or contracting experience.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Electrician License required.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical maintenance or electrical contracting experience.
• Must be a licensed electrician; apprenticeship-only candidates will not be considered.
• Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; travel between local client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, transformers, circuit breakers, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards.
• Utilize CMMS systems to document work orders, inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Support multiple commercial and campus-style facilities while collaborating with facility managers, engineers, HVAC technicians, and contractors.
• Provide exceptional customer service while responding to service requests and supporting facility improvement projects.
