Job summary

Sea-Tac Electric, a Washington-based full-service electrical contractor with 35 years of expertise, seeks a WA State licensed EL01 Journeyman for service and special projects. This in-person role offers day and night shifts, with overtime opportunities across Washington state.

You will install, repair and maintain electrical systems, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety and quality on job sites while communicating progress to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Independent self-starter capable of working in a team
• Ability to assess, troubleshoot and field engineer solutions in active environments
• Organized, detail oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to assess site conditions and customer needs for management
• Demonstrated tradecraft and code proficiency
• Able to use plans and site documentation
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Mentor and guide apprentices
• Daily digital record keeping
• Willing to work nights and after-hours on-call
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Use and maintain PPE and demonstrate safe working practices

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and components
• Pull wires, install conduit and mount electrical panels, boxes or devices under supervision
• Transport tools, materials and equipment to and from job sites, maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and maintain a safe work environment
• Assist in setup and breakdown of job sites
• Maintain inventory supplies and report material shortages to supervisor
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and communicate progress to supervisors
