Licensed Direct Sales Representative – P&C (Goldsboro, NC)

Sentry Insurance is seeking an experienced Direct Sales Representative to sell and service specialty and personal lines products across multiple states. This role supports growth, retention, profit, and sales objectives.

Overview

Products include specialty lines (Non-Standard Auto, Motorcycle) and personal lines (Homeowners, Auto, and other). The position will be located in Stevens Point, WI; Goldsboro, NC; Freeport, IL; or ElPaso, TX, or may work remotely from home.

What You’ll Do

• Sell Dairyland and HarleyDavidson products to meet growth, retention, profit, and sales objectives within our business units.
• Promote Dairyland and HarleyDavidson Insurance Services products and services to customers.
• Understand specific company products.
• Answer inbound customer inquiries on coverage limits, deductibles, etc.
• Provide quotes and bind coverage for customers in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license required.
• Effective phone communication, analytical, decision‑making, and human‑relation skills.
• Previous call‑center or sales experience highly preferred.
• Effective multi‑tasking and time‑management skills.

• Ability to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation

Base salary plus commissions, with opportunities to earn additional monthly, quarterly, and annual incentives. Shift differential paid for hours worked after 5:00PM and on weekends. Remote work may require hours up to 11:00PM CST.
