Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss dental care plans and answer patients' questions.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect health histories.
• Evaluate patients for gum disease, cavities, and infections.
• Perform cleanings, scaling, root planing, and sealants.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Take x-rays.
