Job summary

CentraCare invites you to join our CentraCare Dental Clinic at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN as a Certified Dental Assistant. You will support the dental team in a cozy clinic setting within a large hospital, helping make every patient experience safe and welcoming.

New graduates are welcome; you must be licensed by Minnesota and hold current CPR certification. The role includes chairside, laboratory and x-ray duties with casual – pick-up shifts and a schedule of Mon-Thu 8 AM–4:30 PM,

Qualifications

• Must be graduated from an accredited dental assistant program.
• Licensed by the State of Minnesota.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance to dental students, therapy students, faculty, and licensed dental staff.
• Assist with chair side, laboratory, and x-ray procedures and other duties as assigned.

Job description

Overview

Find your purpose as a Certified Dental Assistant at our CentraCare Dental Clinic within the Rice Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will be a part of the leading provider of rural healthcare in Minnesota. This is a unique dental opportunity, allowing you to work in a cozy dental clinic setting within a large, integrated hospital facility. You will work with our dental team to assist in making our patients' experience safe and enjoyable. Our team environment is stable and supportive, and we treat our patients like family.

Responsibilities

Provide chair side assistance to dental students, dental therapy students, faculty, and/or licensed dental staff in any services rendered to patients. Assist with chair side, laboratory, and x‑ray procedures, as well as assigned duties.

Schedule

• Casual – pick-up shifts, no guaranteed hours
• Monday‑Thursday (8 AM – 4:30 PM), Friday (8 AM – 1 PM)

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay: $27.25 per hour, increasing with experience (pay range $27.25 – $40.88 per hour)

• $2,500 hiring bonus (if applicable)
• $5,000 relocation bonus (if applicable)
• Relocation assistance requires residence more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and a move within 30 miles before or no later than 120 days after starting work.
