Job summary

Dreamer Wellness Center in Wisconsin seeks a licensed Dance/Movement Therapist to join our farm-based mental health practice. You will use movement, body awareness, and creative expression to support children, teens, and adults in building confidence, emotional regulation, and connection.

Sessions may be individual or group-based, and you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor engaging, client-centered interventions in a welcoming, nature-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed and credentialed in dance/movement therapy.
• Experience with children, teens, and/or adults.
• Ability to independently plan and facilitate movement-based sessions.
• Understanding of movement and body awareness to support emotional regulation and self-expression.

Responsibilities

Dance/Movement Therapist Wanted – Join Our Team!

Dreamer Wellness Center is looking for a creative, compassionate, and energetic Dance/Movement Therapist to join our growing team!

We are a unique, farm-based mental health practice that believes therapy doesn’t always have to happen within four walls. Our team uses experiential and creative approaches to help children, teens, and adults build confidence, connection, emotional regulation, communication skills, and overall well-being.

About the Position:

We are seeking a Licensed Dance/Movement Therapist who is excited to use movement, body awareness, and creative expression as part of the therapeutic process. Depending on experience and client needs, sessions may be provided individually or in group settings and may incorporate movement, dance, mindfulness, sensory experiences, rhythm, body awareness, emotional expression, and other creative interventions.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys thinking outside the box and wants the freedom to use their skills creatively while still providing purposeful, client-centered services.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Is licensed and credentialed in dance/movement therapy.
• Is passionate about working with children, teens, and/or adults.
• Is comfortable working with clients with a variety of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social needs.
• Can independently plan and facilitate engaging movement-based sessions.
• Understands how movement and body awareness can support emotional regulation, communication, confidence, and self-expression.
• Is dependable, organized, flexible, and communicative.
• Enjoys collaborating with therapists and other members of a multidisciplinary team.
• Is comfortable working in a farm-based environment where animals, nature, movement, and a little dirt are part of the experience!
• Brings creativity, warmth, patience, and a genuine desire to connect with clients.
