Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and follow facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Assist in maintaining the department and treatment area.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area.
• Communicate patient progress, problems and plans with supervisors and health team.
• Participate in training programs for other staff.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy.
• Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.
