Job summary

10Beauty is launching a brand-new location on the West Side of New York City and seeks a Brand Ambassador with a cosmetology or nail technician license. You will be the face of the brand at the in-store machine, educate customers, and inspire them through a fully robotic manicure experience.

You will earn $20/hour with $30 commissions for each manicure booked, and must be available to travel for a paid training period in Burlington, MA. Equity and benefits are included for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology or nail technician license is required.
• Excellent communication and approachable demeanor.
• Passion for beauty, fashion, wellness, or consumer tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the 10Beauty machine and app.
• Drive bookings and convert conversations to appointments.

Introduction:

10Beauty is seeking a Brand Ambassador with a cosmetology or nail technician license to help launch and represent our brand at a brand new location on the West Side of New York City! This person will be the face of 10Beauty, stationed directly at our in-store machines to educate, assist, and inspire customers as they experience their first fully robotic manicure. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of beauty tech, while connecting with consumers, and driving excitement for 10Beauty and the future of beauty and wellness!

Pay Structure:

$20/hr with $30 commissions earned for each and every manicure booked.

What You'll Do:

• Become a product expert on the 10Beauty machine, our innovative nail pods, and the accompanying app
• Drive customer bookings by creating excitement and converting conversations into appointments
• Provide manicure touch ups and fixes as needed
• Proactively approach and engage customers, sharing the story of 10Beauty and the benefits of our products
• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and positive image that aligns with the 10Beauty brand values
• Listen to customer feedback and share insights with the 10Beauty team to help us continuously improve
• Ensure the machine and surrounding area are clean, organized, and inviting

What you have:

• Experience in cosmetology or most preferably nail related work
• Outgoing, confident, and comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
• Passion for beauty, fashion, wellness, or consumer technology
• Punctual, dependable, and always ready to represent 10Beauty positively
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

*This role includes a paid one week training period. Please note that the training period will involve a week of travel to our corporate office in Burlington, Massachusetts*
