10Beauty is seeking a Licensed Cosmetologist/Nail Tech for its in-store launch at Ulta Beauty in Chicago, IL. You will educate customers at the robotic manicure stations, demonstrate ease of use, and assist with quick nail touch-ups.

The role requires a license or active training, a friendly, proactive attitude, and willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays. Training travel to Burlington, MA is included for selected candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in cosmetology or nail-related work.
• Licensed nail tech or licensed cosmetologist or in training.
• Punctual, dependable and able to represent 10Beauty positively.

Responsibilities

• Become a product expert on the 10Beauty machine, our nail pods, and the app.
• Manicure touch ups and fixes may be required.
• Proactively engage customers and share the 10Beauty story.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of the machine and features.
• Answer questions, offer basic troubleshooting for machine/app.
• Encourage customers to try the machine and provide demos.
• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic image aligned with brand values.
• Share customer insights with the team to improve the product.
• Keep the station and surrounding area clean and inviting.

10Beauty is a robotics startup based in Burlington, MA. Introduction:

10Beauty is seeking a Brand Ambassador, who possesses either a cosmetology or nail tech license for our official launch at Ulta Beauty in Chicago, IL. This person will be the face of our brand, stationed directly at our in-store machines to educate, assist, and inspire customers as they experience their first fully robotic manicure. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of beauty tech, while connecting with consumers, and driving excitement for 10Beauty and the future of beauty!

What You’ll Do:

• Become a product expert on the 10Beauty machine, our innovative nail pods, and the accompanying app


• Manicure touch ups and fixes may be required


• Proactively approach and engage customers, sharing the story of 10Beauty and the benefits of our products


• Provide compelling, hands‑on demonstrations of the 10Beauty machine, showcasing its ease of use and unique features


• Answer customer questions, provide basic troubleshooting for the machine or app, and offer \"nail touch‑ups\" or quick demonstrations to highlight the quality and convenience


• Encourage customers to try the machine!


• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and positive image that aligns with the 10Beauty brand values


• Listen to customer feedback and share insights with the 10Beauty team to help us continuously improve


• Ensure the machine and surrounding area are clean, organized, and inviting

What You Have:

• Experience in cosmetology or most preferably nail related work


• Experience working with nails. Will consider a licensed nail tech, a licensed cosmetologist or a nail tech in training


• Punctual, dependable, and always ready to represent 10Beauty positively


• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

This role will include a paid training period. Please note that the training period will involve some travel to our corporate office in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Salary Range

$30 - $35 USD
