Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology License is required.
• Minimum of 3 years licensed cosmetology experience.
• Experience with senior clientele is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in haircutting, styling and chemical services.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical treatments and related services for senior residents.
• Offer gentle, patient care with attention to mobility and comfort.
• Educate residents on age-appropriate hair care and maintenance.
• Stay up to date on classic and current hair techniques for mature hair (perms, rollers, teasing).
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary salon space compliant with health standards.
• Build meaningful relationships while maintaining a warm, professional presence within the community.
