Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an active police officer to patrol campus properties, maintain order, and uphold public safety for clients in North Carolina. The role requires meeting state training standards and ongoing certification in firearms and related areas.

The officer will issue citations, investigate, respond to medical emergencies, and participate in drills and security escorts as requested. Applicants must be currently active and not retired.

Qualifications

• Active police officer currently employed and not retired.
• High School Diploma or GED required; valid Police ID, VPEC and Firearm certification are required or may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus, check property, maintain order and public safety.
• Issue traffic and parking citations; apprehend suspects, collect evidence, conduct investigations, respond to emergencies and provide escorts as needed.
• Attend required training; maintain proficiency in the use of firearms.
• Perform other duties as required to meet client needs.
