Job summary

New England Mechanical Services is seeking HVAC Technicians with CT S2 or D2 licenses to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for our South Windsor CT Operations Group. This role prefers candidates with commercial HVAC experience, the ability to respond on short notice, and strong communication skills.

A company vehicle, HVAC equipment, gas card, cell phone, uniforms, and PPE are provided to support performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CT S2 or D2 license.
• EPA 608 Universal required.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
• Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the Clean Air Act and safety regulations at federal, state and local levels.
• Attend safety training provided by NEMSI.
• Follow NEMSI safety policies and use PPE when installing/servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with clients professionally and maintain a neat appearance.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
