Job summary

WellPower in Denver is seeking a Licensed Clinician to provide direct mental health assessments and therapy within a clinical team, supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology or related field, licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT or licensed psychologist or license eligible), and a minimum of three years’ experience with moderate to severe mental health challenges. HIPAA knowledge is essential; EMDR is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments and trauma-informed therapy to clients.
  • Provide case management services as needed or assigned.
  • Develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and follow up as clinically indicated.
  • Assist clients with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate clients' use of WellPower programs and outside resources.
  • Facilitate coordination of medications with psychiatrists, nurses, and other medical resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records compliant with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions.
  • Perform 27-10 (M-1) mental health hold evaluations.
  • Opportunities for supervision of interns and clinicians working towards licensure (optional).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Licensed Clinician p rovide s direct mental health clinical assessments and treatment to individuals with mental illness. Work with others in a clinical team environment to help individuals move toward recovery.

Salary Ranges
  • LPC/LMFT/LCSW: $34.78/hour - $72,342.40/year
  • LAC Differential - $1.00
  • Language Differential - $1-$2.50/hour for bilingual proficiency in Spanish or ASL

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.

Job Duties & Functions

  • Provide case management services to clients as needed or assigned.
  • Develop treatment plans, monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated.
  • Assist clients with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate client's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.
  • Facilitate the coordination of medication/medicinal needs of clients with psychiatrists, nurses, and other medical resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services degree.
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT Licensed , Licensed Psychologist or license eligible
  • At least three years’ experience working withindividualsexperiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.
  • Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM – 5.
  • Must have a clear understanding of HIPAA, confidentialityandpersonal boundaries.
  • Ability to navigate an electronic medical record and utilize technology effectively.
  • Certified in EMDR (preferred).
Shift/Hours

Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, bend and reach, drive, operate standard office equipment such as phone, computer, facsimile, copier/printer, and other business machines. Occasional lift up to 40 lbs.
