Job summary

Owen Health Care is seeking a Licensed Clinician (Behavioral Health) to deliver mental health and substance use services, including assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, care coordination, and documentation in line with NJ DMHAS requirements.

The role covers individual, group, and family therapy, biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referrals to psychiatry, detox, and community supports, with documentation in NJSAMS and the agency EHR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active NJ license/credential in good standing (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, LCADC/CADC as applicable).
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to document accurately in EHR; familiarity with NJSAMS preferred.
• Knowledge of NJ levels of care and MH/SUD referral pathways preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide MH/SUD therapy: individual, group, and family sessions.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
• Coordinate referrals for psychiatry, detox, MAT, and community supports.
• Maintain compliant clinical records in NJSAMS and EHR.
