Job summary

ERP International, LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join the Behavioral Health/SARP clinic team at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, NC. The LCSW will assess psychosocial functioning, develop treatment plans, provide counseling, and coordinate referrals for service members, their families, and retirees.

Requirements include an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, an unrestricted LCSW license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
• CSWE-accredited MSW program.
• Experience in clinical social work within the last 3 years.
• Current, valid, unrestricted LCSW license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals to community and government services.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:30am and 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch

Job Specific Details and Tasks:The duties for the HCW include but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Government agencies for services.Exhibit 5, Version 1.0 (4 Oct 22)
• Independentlyassess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational and other diverse backgrounds.
• Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.
• Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals.
• Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Must practice within the bounds of the license or certification and the privileges granted by the MTF.
• Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment.
• Participate in professional peer review

Additional duties:

• Provide direct and indirect services to both inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide crisis intervention services when indicated.
• Develop and implement discharge plans, follow-up care, and transfers to other health care facilities if necessary.
• Respond independently, and with various medica, to appropriate military and community requests for lectures and presentations. Take initiative in seeking out opportunities to present programs to meet the needs of services members and their families.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with community resources. Coordinate with teachers, lawyers, physicians, and representatives of their service disciplines for the benefit of the service member and their families. Take initiative in identifying and assessing the needs of the military community and organize responses to address those needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).• Education: Graduate from a School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).• Experience: Experience in clinical social work, either through a master’s-level practicum or 2 years post-MSW experience, within the last 3 years, in a clinical/treatment setting.

• Licensure: Possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

* Life Support Certification: Current AHA or ARC BLS Certifications.

* Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
