Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. You will conduct evaluations and write social histories for children in home, school, or clinic settings, helping families access services.

This role offers a flexible schedule, training on our paperless billing system, supportive supervision, and benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
• Experience evaluating children birth to 5 preferred.
• Travel to cases in NYC boroughs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
• Write Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and/or IFSP goals.

Job Responsibilities for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner
• Write Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and/or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goal
• Determine need for additional assessment per observation and child need
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience evaluating children birth - 5preferred but not required.
• Familiar with using evaluation tools such as ADOS 2 or CARS 2.
• EI Evaluations program requires completion of the EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment trainings.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate: Evaluations$158.00-$230.00
Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during theLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Job interview process.
