Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is hiring a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Hamilton, NJ to apply social work methods to disability services in a community-based setting. The LCSW will screen records, conduct interviews, set treatment goals, and coordinate services for youth and families.

Starting pay is $75,000 per year. The position involves collaboration with an IDT and adherence to CRMC policies; background checks are required.

Qualifications

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.

We are now hiring a skilled Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Hamilton, NJ. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) uses best practice within a community-based setting to apply social work methods to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The main responsibility of a clinical social worker is to screen medical records, conduct interviews and assessments, set treatment goals, and arrange for expediting and coordinating services.

This position is primarily located in Rockville, MD.

Starting pay is $75,000/per year

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment to youth with mental disorders, as well as various behavioral and emotional disturbances
• Maintain liaison with area resources and coordinate social service activities
• Assess and plan for the social requirements of youth and families
• Develop social service programs and resources
• Provide consultation on various social aspects of procedures, policies, and services to staff
• Comply with CRMC policies
• Serve as an active member of each person’s Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT), which includes involvement in Individual Habilitation Plan development and ISP
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
• Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
• Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children and families
• Ability to collect, interpret, and graph data
• Understanding and commitment to community-based support for youth with behavior challenges
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
