Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Bastrop, LA is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support students’ social, emotional, and academic development in a full-time, school-based role. You’ll provide counseling, collaborate with families and educators, and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program.
• Current LA Social Worker (LCSW) through LA State Board of Social Work Examiners.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed.
