Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in developing care plans and to provide counseling and crisis intervention across age groups in diverse settings. This is a travel role with competitive pay and full benefits.

Must hold an MSW and an active LCSW license in the state of practice, be at least 18, and meet CPR/health requirements as applicable. Travel assignments offered across healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Active LCSW license in state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those patients/clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social or emotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required

• Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required

• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
