Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a team-oriented Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Case Management Team. The LCSW will conduct initial evaluations, provide individual and group therapy, and offer consultation services and suicide risk analysis to our patient population.

Essential duties include crisis assessments, care coordination, documentation in the electronic health record, and participation in programs addressing chronic medical conditions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in related field is required.
  • Current LCSW licensure through Idaho Board of Social Work Examiners is required.
  • 3–4 years of relatable experience is preferred.
  • Current MSW pursuing a clinical license is preferred.
  • Demonstrated English communication skills for patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial evaluations and individual therapy.
  • Provides group therapy and psychoeducation.
  • Provides consultations and suicide risk analysis.
  • Carries out crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions.
  • Performs care coordination and information/referral services.
  • Documents services in the electronic health record.
  • Maintains documentation and scheduling; participates in integrated health care services.

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a team-oriented Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Case Management Team!

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing initial evaluations, individual, and group therapy. In addition, this position will provide consultation services and suicide risk analysis to our patient population.

Essential Functions
  • Provides consultations to clients
  • Initial mental health evaluations resulting in treatment plans
  • Assessing clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc.
  • Provide brief, solution focused therapy
  • Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to chronic medical conditions;
  • provide information and referral services;
  • Care coordination
  • Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions
  • Provision of other services related to wellness
  • Documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements
  • Other related activities designed to provide integrated health care services
  • Individual psychotherapy with clients
  • Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record
Qualifications And Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Current LCSW licensure through Idaho Board of Social Work Examiners
  • Current MSW pursuing a clinical license
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Demonstrate initiative and discipline in time management and medical record reviewEffective interpersonal skills
  • 3-4 years of relatable experience
  • Current BLS Certification
