Job summary

Transformation Health Services, PLLC is seeking a fully licensed LCSW or Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our behavioral health team in Virginia Beach or Richmond, VA. Transformation Health Services, PLLC is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and fully licensed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our growing behavioral health practice in Virginia Beach or Richmond, Virginia.

This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility to provide both telehealth and in-person appointments. Candidates must be available to conduct in-person clinical services at our Virginia Beach, VA, or Richmond, VA office.

We welcome applications from qualified LCSWs who provide psychotherapy services, as well as licensed clinical psychologists who specialize in psychotherapy and psychological testing and assessment.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, patient-centered professional committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care while collaborating with our multidisciplinary clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

Psychotherapy & Clinical Services

• Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on clinical training and competency.
• Conduct both in-person and telehealth therapy appointments.
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of behavioral health conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other behavioral health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Psychological Testing & Assessment (Licensed Psychologists)

• Conduct psychological evaluations and administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological assessments.
• Perform diagnostic testing for conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, cognitive concerns, personality disorders, and other behavioral health conditions within the clinician's scope of competency.
• Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluation reports, including diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
• Provide feedback sessions to patients and families regarding assessment findings.
• Coordinate with referring providers regarding testing results and recommendations.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, psychological evaluation reports, and other required documentation in accordance with practice policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, professional ethical standards, and applicable licensing requirements.
• Participate in clinical consultations and interdisciplinary collaboration as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted clinical license in the Commonwealth of Virginia as either:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
• Must be fully licensed. Supervisees, residents, and individuals working toward independent clinical licensure will not be considered.
• Must be available to provide in-person clinical services at our Virginia Beach location.
• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program (LCSW applicants) or doctoral degree in Psychology from an appropriately accredited program (psychologist applicants).
• Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy and behavioral health assessments.
• Licensed psychologist applicants must have the training and competency necessary to perform psychological testing and evaluations.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned patient caseload.
• Ability to provide professional, confidential telehealth services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient behavioral health or psychiatric practice.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations (psychologist applicants).
• Familiarity with SimplePractice or similar electronic health record platforms.
• Experience collaborating with psychiatric medication management providers.
• Experience providing both in-person and virtual clinical services.
• Experience serving diverse patient populations.
• Active multi-state license (Virginia, New York, Florida) is a plus
