Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our correctional healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years+ recent experience as an LCSW.
• PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required; current certifications and records (BLS, N95, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide counseling, crisis intervention, and other social work services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on mental health needs.
• Coordinate care with healthcare providers and community resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties within licensure scope as assigned.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducts psychosocial assessments and provides individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and other clinical social work services.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patients’ mental health and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care, referrals, and support services.
• Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties within the scope of licensure as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNorth Carolina license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 2 years +of recent experience as a LCSW
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,..)
