Job summary

The Judge Group is expanding its Military OneSource Behavioral Health Provider Network, recruiting licensed professionals to offer short-term, non-medical counseling to active-duty service members, National Guard, Reserve, and military families. Providers can deliver services in person or via telehealth, with referrals coordinated directly through MOS.

Eligible licenses include LCSW, LPC/LPCC/LCPC, LMFT, and Psychologist.

Qualifications

• Be licensed in the state where services are performed.
• Hold an active, unrestricted license.
• Be a U.S. citizen and speak English.
• Successfully complete credentialing and background checks.
• Complete fingerprinting/security requirements and Military OneSource/DOD training.
• Maintain professional liability coverage.
• Provide confidential counseling space and comply with all applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, solution-focused non-medical counseling to eligible military members and families.
• Coordinate scheduling and referrals through Military OneSource.
• Document sessions with concise Case Activity Reports (CARs) within required timelines.
• Ensure sessions adhere to program guidelines and credentialing processes.

The Judge Group – Military OneSource Behavioral Health Provider Opportunity

The Judge Group is expanding its behavioral health provider network in support of the Military OneSource (MOS) Program, which provides confidential, short-term, non-medical counseling services to active-duty service members, members of the National Guard and Reserve, and eligible military family members.

We are actively onboarding licensed behavioral health professionals nationwide to provide in-person and/or virtual counseling services to members of the military community.

Eligible Provider Types

• LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• LPC / LPCC / LCPC – Licensed Professional Counselor (title varies by state)
• LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• Licensed Psychologist – PhD/PsyD

Providers must hold an active, unrestricted license in the state where services are provided.

Program Overview

Military OneSource provides short-term, solution-focused non-medical counseling designed to help service members and their families navigate common challenges associated with military and everyday life.

Common Areas Of Support Include

The program is intended for short-term non-medical counseling and is not designed for treatment of clinical psychiatric diagnoses or conditions requiring long-term behavioral health treatment.

Scheduling & Counseling

Military OneSource refers eligible participants directly into the provider network.

Providers should generally be able to offer routine referrals an appointment within three business days. If that time is not convenient for the participant, another mutually agreeable appointment within the week may be scheduled.

The program allows for up to 12 authorized counseling sessions for an eligible participant.

Counseling may be conducted virtually or in person based on program authorization, provider availability, participant preference, and applicable licensing requirements.

Provider Requirements

• Maintain an active and unrestricted applicable professional license
• Be licensed in the state where services are performed
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Speak English
• Successfully complete required credentialing
• Complete a criminal background check
• Complete required fingerprinting/security requirements
• Complete required Military OneSource/DOD training
• Maintain required professional liability coverage
• Maintain appropriate confidential counseling space for services
• Follow all applicable federal, state, program, and professional requirements

Credentialing & Onboarding Process

• Document Collection

The Judge Group collects the required licensing, credentialing, and professional documentation.

• Credentialing Review

The provider completes the required background screening while the credentialing team reviews the provider's documentation.

• Credentialing Completion

Once all credentialing requirements have been reviewed and approved, the provider advances to the program security process.

• Security Clearance & Fingerprinting

Providers complete the required security and digital fingerprinting process.

• Provider Orientation

Approved providers complete a brief program and provider-portal orientation.

• Scheduling Begins

Once fully approved and onboarded, providers become eligible to begin receiving Military OneSource referrals and coordinating appointments with participants.

Documentation Requirements

Providers are responsible for completing required Case Activity Reports (CARs) following counseling sessions.

Documentation Should Be Concise While Appropriately Addressing

• The participant's presentation or what occurred during the session
• Steps taken by the provider toward the established goals
• The participant's response and progress

Required documentation must be completed accurately and within established program timelines.
