Job summary

Behavioral Care Solutions is seeking a fully licensed psychologist to provide geriatric behavioral health services in an in-person setting in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports 1:1 patient care with a flexible schedule across part-time or full-time positions.

The ideal candidate holds a Psy.D./Ph.D., a valid state license, and Medicare-approved status, with strong communication skills for patients, families and staff in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology (Psy.D./Ph.D.) from an accredited university.
• Licensed to practice psychology in the state; Medicare approved status.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychological services through evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of geriatric patients.
• Include psychotherapy and 1:1 interactions with patients.
• Conduct neuro-psychological testing – administration, scoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and adherence to Medicare guidelines.

We are a GROWING COMPANY: Behavioral Care Solutions is the largest psychiatric and psycho-social services provider in long-term care in the Mid-West, supporting 600 long-term care facilities in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana...and expanding.

NEED: We are seeking FULLY licensed Psychologists who specialises, or have interest in, long term, geriatric behavioral health.

Locations

Minneapolis, MN

Part-Time or Full-Time

Responsibilities

• * Provide direct psychological services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of geriatric patients at various facilities.
• * Does include psychological therapy.
• * See 10 - 15 patients per full service day.
• * Neuro-psychological and Psychological testing – administration, scoring and report writing.
• * Collaboration with multiple disciplines and assure continuity of care.
• * Knowledge of Medicare standards and documentation.

Qualifications of the Psychologist

• * Psy.D./Ph.D. from an accredited University plus experience.
• * Must have Valid FULL state license. Medicare approved status.
• * Demonstrated skills in communication with patients, families and staff.
