Job summary

Epworth Children's Home in South Carolina seeks a licensed professional to provide individual, group, and family counseling for children and families.

The role includes intake, assessment, case management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams; supervision towards licensure is available; strong faith compatibility with United Methodist Church preferred; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPES, LPES-A, LISW-CP, or LMSW in South Carolina.
• Master's degree in counseling or another license-eligible field.
• Two years of experience with children who have therapeutic needs preferred, not required.
• Pass standard background checks (drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, Sex Offenders Registry).
• Belief system and faith practices compatible with United Methodist Church.
• Bilingual a plus.

Epworth Children's Home has grown and adapted to the needs of children and families by providing a safe and nurturing environment, evidence-based practices, and programs across the continuum of care in South Carolina.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling services to clients and significant others with trauma histories, substance use problems, at-risk behaviors, and/or behavioral needs in accordance with Epworth Center for Counseling policies and procedures.
• Provide intake, assessment, case management, referral, and intervention services as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external resources to support client progress and well-being.
