Job summary

Premise Health seeks a Full Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional to provide care to employees and dependents at our Gainesville, FL Health Center. Hours are Monday–Friday days with occasional Saturdays.

You’ll conduct psychotherapy, support patient well‑being, and collaborate on treatment goals. Requires a Master’s degree and state licensure as specified (LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, etc.).

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
• Licensure as a mental health clinician per state requirements (examples: LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LPCC, LCPC). LMSW not accepted across states.
• CAMS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• 4+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Experience in behavioral mental health treatment including depression, mood disorders, substance use, family counseling, and related areas.
• Crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to serve diverse populations.
• Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors.

As a Full Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Gainesville, FL.
The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday dayshift, with the possibility of an occasional Saturday shift, typically no more than once per month.

What You’ll Do

• Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
• Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
• Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
• Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
• Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
• Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
• Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
• Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
• Enters data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
• Licensed as a mental health clinicians as per state requirements: examples include Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
• LMSW is not accepted across states.
• For NY ONLY, LCSW, LMHC-D and LMFT-D are accepted.
• Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS - care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc..
• Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
• Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.
• Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
• Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred.
