Job summary

W3Global in Baton Rouge seeks a Civil Construction Manager to lead project management, contract administration, and field oversight for major civil infrastructure programs. You will coordinate with contractors, utilities, inspectors, and agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a Louisiana PE license, strong engineering judgment, and experience with design-bid-build and design-build processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 4-6 years of progressive engineering and construction experience.
• Experience with civil infrastructure projects, construction administration, and contractor coordination.
• Experience with DOTD and/or local government agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned civil engineering and construction projects from design through construction and closeout.
• Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, communicate requirements and actions.
• Prepare engineering plans, specs, bid documents, and other deliverables from approved scope.
• Maintain complete project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate activities with contractors, subcontractors, utilities, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals and provide timely responses.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and pay quantities.
• Lead CAD drafters and inspectors, providing direction and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with DOTD/local agency requirements and contract terms.
