MOHR Talent is hiring licensed cheesemakers and production team leads for a modern dairy facility in eastern Wisconsin. Multiple full-time, onsite roles across 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts with training on different schedules may apply.

Active Wisconsin Cheesemaker licenses are required, with 3+ years in dairy production preferred. Relocation may be necessary for some positions, and weekend work options exist with four-day schedules.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Cheesemaker license required.
• Experience in dairy manufacturing, preferably commercial cheese production.
• Hands-on knowledge of cheesemaking, equipment, sanitation, and quality control.
• Ability to troubleshoot production or processing challenges.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite near Kiel, Wisconsin or relocate.

Responsabilités

• Lead and participate in commercial cheesemaking, including milk processing and sanitation.
• Coordinate daily operations, guide associates, and ensure safe, efficient production.
• Troubleshoot cheese quality and equipment issues to maintain performance.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor associates, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Improve production by reducing downtime and waste.
• Support growth of the facility and operational development.

We're hiring experienced, hands-on Licensed Cheesemakers and Cheese Production Team Leads for multiple full-time opportunities at a modern dairy manufacturing facility in eastern Wisconsin.

You do not need to currently hold a Team Lead title. We're equally interested in experienced, licensed Cheesemakers who have the technical knowledge and potential to lead.

Available Shifts — Find Your Fit!

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM–11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Overnight, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM, plus an additional scheduled day
• Weekend Days: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekend Nights: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM

Weekend Perk: Work 36 Hours, Get Paid for 40!

Enjoy three 12-hour shifts and four days off each week on eligible weekend schedules.

Some positions require initial training on a different shift. Final schedules will be confirmed during the hiring process.

What You'll Do

• Make Great Cheese: Lead and actively participate in commercial cheesemaking, including milk processing, production equipment operation, and sanitation.

• Lead the Production Floor: Coordinate daily operations, guide associates, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot & Solve Problems: Identify issues with cheese quality, processing equipment, and production performance.

• Maintain Quality Standards: Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop Your Team: Train and mentor associates while encouraging accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Improve Production: Help reduce downtime, minimize waste, and maintain consistent cheese quality.

• Support Facility Growth: Play an important role in developing and strengthening operations at a growing manufacturing facility.

What You Must Have

• ACTIVE WISCONSIN CHEESEMAKER LICENSE — REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• At least 3 years of dairy manufacturing experience, preferably in commercial cheese production.

• Hands-on knowledge of cheesemaking processes, production equipment, sanitation, and quality control.

• Ability to troubleshoot production or processing challenges.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work 100% onsite near Kiel, Wisconsin.

• Ability to relocate if currently living outside commuting distance.

A Wisconsin Pasteurizer License is a plus, but not required.

Previous Team Lead experience is preferred, but experienced licensed Cheesemakers ready to advance are encouraged to apply.
