Qualifications

• Certification as Building Inspector for Commercial Construction.
• State and national certifications listed.
• Extensive experience in construction inspection and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of buildings and other construction work to ensure compliance with tribal, state, and federal codes.
• Interpret blueprints and discuss deviations to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain daily reports on construction and inspection activities for each project; plan reviews before permits.
• Coordinate inspections with outside agencies and ensure code compliance in various trades.

Education

Two-year Certified Building Inspector for Commercial Construction

Journeyman’s certificate

State certification (manufacturing, residential, electrical, plumbing)

State of Oregon Certified Inspector (One- & Two-family dwellings)

National certifications: One- & Two-family Dwellings (Mechanical, Plumbing, Plan Reviewer)

Five years’ experience in construction industry as contractor or inspector
