Job summary

CFG Health is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to deliver mental health assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management within healthcare, behavioral health, and correctional settings.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to support patient wellness, behavioral stabilization, rehabilitation, and continuity of care, while adhering to professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field required.
• Current active state licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Minimum of one year of behavioral health or clinical counseling experience preferred.
• Experience in correctional, psychiatric, crisis intervention, or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Provide individual, group, and crisis counseling services to patients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and behavioral care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition or risk to appropriate clinical staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and care coordination activities.
• Provide crisis intervention, behavioral stabilization, and de-escalation support as needed.
• Coordinate referrals, discharge planning, and continuity of care services.
• Educate patients on coping skills, behavioral health conditions, treatment plans, and available community resources.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PREA, NCCHC, ACA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, trainings, audits, and staff meetings.
• Maintain professional boundaries and therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Collaborate with custody staff, medical staff, and outside providers when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
