Job summary

Armor Health, Cobb County Jail in Marietta, GA, seeks a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our correctional health team. You will deliver psychosocial assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention as part of a multidisciplinary treatment program in a secure facility.

You will collect information through interviews and records, evaluate data to determine therapy, provide crisis management and short-term therapy, and develop treatment and follow-up plans to support patient

Qualifications

• Provide psychosocial assessments, preliminary diagnostic impression, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collect supporting information about patients through interview, case history, tests or observation.
• Evaluate data to identify causes and determine proper therapeutic approach or referrals.
• Provide crisis management counseling and short-term therapy as appropriate.
• Prepare treatment and follow-up care programs and provide emergency services as required.
