Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies in Kansas is seeking Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals for multiple correctional facilities statewide. The role provides mental health assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning within a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation in a secure environment.

Requires a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field and current Kansas licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMLP, LCP, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT or equivalent).

Qualifications

• MUST be licensed in Kansas (LMSW, LCSW, LMLP, LCP, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Participates in and conducts trainings and education for staff and clients.
• Documents in the Electronic Health Record and coordinates with a multidisciplinary team.

Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LCSW) Position Summary:

The Licensed Behavioral Health Professional provides mental health assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning services to individuals in a correctional environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Behavioral Health Professional supports rehabilitation and recovery by addressing behavioral health needs in a secure correctional facility.

Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LCSW) Essential Functions:

• Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Assists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects
• May direct special projects as requested
• Participates in and conducts in-service trainings/education, as well as assists in the orientation of new staff
• Documents appropriately in the Electronic Health Record
• Attends training and meetings as required

Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LCSW) Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• MUST be licensed in Kansas (LMSW, LCSW, LMLP, LCP, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT or equivalent).
