Job summary

Community Health Center of Stamford seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician II to provide psychosocial evaluations, develop care plans, and offer individual, family, or group therapy in an outpatient setting. You will work within an interdisciplinary team and may supervise unlicensed staff.

Responsibilities include running groups, crisis intervention, coordinating with psychiatric consultants, and ensuring documentation meets Joint Commission and state standards.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Psy.D, LCSW, LPC or LMFT licensed in CT.
• Two years of experience with outpatients including children/adults.
• Bilingual fluency in language spoken by patient population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial behavioral health evaluations and conduct individual, group and family therapy.
• Run at least five groups per week.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and coordinate with psychiatric/medical providers.
