Job summary

Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Philadelphia team. You will treat a broad range of mental health conditions and work within our behavioral care network to deliver evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities include screening, assessment, therapy (CBT/DBT and other evidence-based methods), precise documentation, and contributing to our patient growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Provide treatment for mental health conditions using approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient growth by contributing profiles for online directories and marketing materials

Education

Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field

Clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of practice
