Access Services is hiring a PA Licensed Behavior Specialist to develop treatment plans and authorization documentation for children and adolescents and/or adults in schools, homes, and community locations. We offer a salary of $78,000 with an expectation of 30 billable hours per week (120 per 4 week cycle), an uncapped incentive paid monthly at $30 per billable hour exceeding 128 in a 4-week cycle (32 per week), and a competitive employee benefits package.

Essential Functions of Licensed Behavior Specialist (Lifespan Clinician):
  • Prepare individualized clinical documentation whichidentifies target behaviors,replacement behaviors, and individualized interventions with identified team members responsible for intervention support. Design treatment plans/behavior plans to support and sustain change.
  • Establish criteria for discharge from services. Develop a robust discharge plan to support the individual and family/care providers in maintainingchanges, and address discharge planning throughout treatment with client and family/care providers.
  • You will lead the treatment team, ensuring communication across all stakeholders, and ensuring skills generalization.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Meet expectations of performing 30 billable hours weekly.
Schedule: This full-time position will include primarily daytime hours providing services within the school setting.

The selected candidate must meet all qualifying and ongoing job criteria including background checks and a driving history record.

Education
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or counseling field required.
Certification/Licenses
  • Prior to hire, must be a Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in the state of PA.
  • 13 Hour Functional Behavior Assessment through ODP, completed prior to hire.
Experience
  • One year of experience providing behavioral health services (post masters degree) preferred.
  • Strong foundation of Behavior Analytic skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all staff and the public.
  • Strong ability to receive feedback and willingness to grow clinically, professionally, and personally.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, work independently, and as part of a team. Thorough knowledge of rules and guidelines mandated by medical assistance and managed care systems as well as CASSP principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, when providing services to bilingual or non-English speaking families, and clearly write comprehensive English only notes.
  • Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use, workplace applications, platforms and technologies.
Driving Requirements
  • A valid US driver’s license for at least two years, not including time with permit.
  • No serious traffic convictions within the past three years. (Serious convictions include, but are not limited to, DUI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, or three or more traffic violations and/or at-fault accidents within that period.)
  • Access to a reliable vehicle during work hours. Vehicle must have valid registration and inspection stickers.
  • Valid auto insurance. You will be asked to provide proof that you are a covered driver on the policy.
Essential Working Conditions/Physical Demands
  • Work in program sites and the community routinely providing direct care and/or support withindividual(s).
  • Stand, sit or run by self, orto provideproper care and supervision with anindividual.
  • Able to move and stay with an individual tokeepthemsafe, both in home environment and community, both at near and far distances, even when an individual may struggle to meet identified expectations.
  • Able toassist an individualwho has fallen, regardless of weight or size.
  • Walk, climb stairs by self, orto providedirect care and/or support.
  • Workin a standard office environment; Utilize desktop computer equipmenton a daily basis.
  • Able to lift or move items associated with sedentary work and light work (exert up to 20 lbs.)
  • Travel to offsite locations and regional office locations if necessary.
  • Exposure to high-stress situations involving verbal aggression, physical outbursts, and emotional dysregulation.
  • Fast-paced, unpredictable environment requiring constant vigilance and adaptability.
  • Tolerance for loud environments, physical contact, and sensory stimulation.
